ILA Direct Ltd was launched on 1st March 2021 with one very clear purpose in mind; to deliver high-quality, face-to-face independent legal advice as quickly and conveniently as possible.
Founded by Thomas Paget, an experienced commercial property solicitor and former partner of a successful regional law firm, ILA Direct offers a simple solution for solicitors, mortgage brokers and lenders who are looking for a firm to provide independent legal advice to their clients at a fair price.
Our Background
As anyone who has tried will know, it can be very difficult finding a firm willing to provide independent legal advice. Many firms refuse to take instructions and those that do often charge excessively for their services. ​
Furthermore, the requirement for this type of legal advice is often overlooked until the last minute. The urgency for the advice combined with the reluctance of many firms to provide this type of advice can make the process of obtaining independent legal advice very frustrating.
